Our ideal candidate has 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Someone who is a career accountant and or finance professional. Detail oriented, process focused, professional communicator, and depth of experience in industry. Many of our team members have worked at an accounting firm then transitioned to processive roles in accounting to leading teams, implementing system changes, and solving complex issues. We focus on business decision clarity from accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis.

Life at CFO Worx

  • We build healthy routine into often variable day to day and week to week client needs
  • Depending upon how many clients and at what level of engagement you work with, an average day could be split between a couple industries / companies and then further between prioritizing recurring client deliverables, remote consultative sessions with clients, and driving client initiatives to improve financial reporting and controls.
  • Our average hours worked weekly is 40 hrs - with the infrequent surge during critical initiatives of a few more hours in a week to serve a demanding client's needs.
  • Our typical client profile is: $4mm - $80mm revenue, us based, private businesses, focusing on growth and professionalization and we focus on doing business owners with integrity.

Interview Process

SUBMIT RESUME

Our recruiting team will be quick to respond, we receive lots of applications, we ensure that we find people who are inline with the values listed above. 

SCREENING CALL

15 min, understanding background and system processing, critical to understand communication style and presentability, as well as, the depth of your accounting and finance experience, explain concisely

TECHNICAL INTERVIEW

30 min – Interview with Management, Controller and/or CFO. This will be a review of your technical capabilities and comfortability with financial models. – it is important to understand strengths and weaknesses, ensure you are working with clients you can be most impactful with.

INTERNAL COMMITTEE REVIEW

Recruiting, management, and account executives, collaborate to make best hiring decisions.

PROCESS LENGTH

Proces length varies, depending on client immediate need and complexity on scope of role. We try to give updates as we receive them to candidates as they transition through the interview process.
